Police Blotter: Over $1K in Thefts and Suspects ID'd in Burglaries

Crime summaries from the Beverly Hills Police Department dating Dec. 30, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014:

Assault
On Dec. 30 in the 500 block of South Beverly Drive, an assault was reported. Police identify the suspect as a white man.

Grand theft

• Between Dec. 15 and Dec. 30 at the intersection of Burton Way and Oakhurst Drive, a theft was reported that resulted in a $1,000 loss.
• On Dec. 29 in the 400 block of North Maple Drive, a theft was reported that resulted in a $1,000 loss. The suspect is described as a white man, brown hair, 5'10'' and 190 pounds.
• On Dec. 31 in the 100 block of North La Cienega Boulevard, a theft was reported that resulted in a $2,000 loss. 
• On Jan. 1 in the 400 block of North Beverly Drive, a theft occurred that resulted in a $600 loss.
• On Jan. 1 in the 200 block of South Elm Drive, a theft occurred that amounted to a $15,000 loss. Police describe the suspect as a black man, black hair, brown eyes, 5'6'' and 130 pounds.
• On Jan. 5 in the 9600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, a theft occurred that resulted in a $5,305 loss.

• Between Dec. 27 and Dec. 30 in the 900 block of Foothill Road, a burglary occurred that resulted in a $12,600 loss. 
• On Dec. 31 in the 100 block of South Clark Drive, a burglary occurred. Police describe the suspect as a black man, age 32, black hair, brown eyes, 6'0'' and 175 pounds.
• Between Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 in the 1100 block of Tower Road, a burglary occurred that resulted in a $3,930 loss.
• On Jan. 2 in the 200 block of South Almont Drive, a burglary occurred that resulted in a $11,800 loss.
• Between Dec. 11 and Jan. 3 in the 8300 block of Wilshire Boulevard, a burglary occurred that resulted in a $7,500 loss.
• On Jan. 4 in the 400 block of North Beverly Drive, a burglary was reported that resulted in a $400 loss. Police describe two suspects as a black man, age 29, and a black woman, age 28, both with black hair, brown eyes and 5'9'' (160 pounds) and 5'3'' (140 pounds), respectively.
