Police Blotter: Morning Assault, Burglaries and a Stolen Watch

Also, a woman reports that personal property was taken from her rental car while it was valet parked.

A.M. Assault

Between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on March 20, two people were assaulted on the 200 block of North Oakhurst Drive. The suspect reportedly punched both victims in the face—causing visible injury to one victim’s mouth—then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Beverly Burglary

Sometime between the mornings of March 21 and 22, someone burglarized a property on the 300 block of South Beverly Drive. The victim reported a loss of $1,800.

Watch Me Go

Between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on March 21, merchandise was stolen from a men’s clothing store on the 200 block of North Rodeo Drive. A man described as being 20 years old with black hair allegedly reached into an unsecured display case, removed a watch valued at $5,900 and fled the location.

At-Home Invasion

Between 1:30 and 5 p.m. on March 21, a home was burglarized on the 1100 block of Coldwater Canyon Drive. A man described as being 6-feet tall and weighing 175 pounds allegedly entered the unlocked residence while the victim was home, stole property and then fled undetected.

Bad Parking

Between 12:30-2:30 p.m. on March 22, property was stolen from a rental car that was valet parked on the 8500 block of Wilshire Boulevard. The victim reported that upon returning to the car, personal property valued at $2,900 was missing.

Office Thief

At about 1:30 p.m. on March 22, an office was burglarized on the 400 block of North Bedford Drive. A man described as being 50 years old, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing 210 pounds with black hair is alleged to have stolen $2,000 worth of property.
