Care-taker
During the months of May, June and July, a caregiver stole property from a client on the 9100 block of Beverly Boulevard. The thief is described as a 70-year-old woman who is 5-feet 1-inch tall, weighing 110 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. The victim reported a loss of $60,000.

Tooled
Between July 22-26, a theft occurred on the 300 block of South La Peer Drive. Someone used a bolt cutter to open a padlock and steal $90 worth of property.

Easy access
During the night of July 26, items were stolen from an unlocked car parked in a garage on the 700 block of Walden Drive.
Fight on the go
At about 1:30 a.m. on July 27, a physical altercation broke out between two people in a vehicle on the 1700 block of Loma Vista Drive. They were reportedly striking each other in a moving car.
Failed attempt
Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on July 27, someone attempted to enter a residence on the 200 block of South La Peer Drive by forcing entry into the rear sliding door of the residence.
Cut and run
During the day of July 27, someone cut the screen of a bedroom window to enter a home on the 100 block of North Swall Drive. The suspect then fled the residence without taking any property.
Second thoughts
At about 1:30 p.m. on July 27, someone entered a residence on the 200 block of South La Peer Drive by shattering a French door window. The victim reported that no property was taken.
Out back
Sometime between July 27 and 28, property was stolen from a secured backyard on the 600 block of North Palm Drive. The victim reported a loss of $1,000.
Teen scrap
At 11 p.m. on July 29, an assault occurred on the 300 block of South Linden Drive. Two 16-year-old males reportedly got into a fistfight.
Engine off
Shortly before midnight July 30, a physical altercation took place in the area of Charleville Boulevard and South Doheny Drive. The fight occurred when one person removed another person’s car keys from the latter’s ignition.
Remote-controlled entry
Shortly after midnight July 31, someone took a garage door opener from an unlocked car on the 300 block of South Clark Drive and used it to open and enter a residential garage. No losses were reported.
