Police Arrest 2 in Stolen Vehicle

Beverly Hills police clear the scene at La Cienega and San Vicente boulevards.

Traffic in Beverly Hills was temporarily backed up Friday afternoon while police tracked down and arrested two people in a stolen vehicle.

The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Friday at the intersection of La Cienega and San Vicente boulevards, according to Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Don Chase in the watch commander post.

Chase said one patrol car ran the plates on a Dodge that came back stolen, and then located the vehicle and arrested two people without incident.

As of 4:40 p.m. the scene is almost clear and traffic is flowing again.
