Photo Gallery: The 23rd Annual Black & White Ball

The event helps to provide benefits for retired officers and their families, and also raises funds for scholarship opportunities.

The community came out in force Monday evening for the Beverly Hills Police Officers Association's annual Black & White Ball, a fundraising effort held at the Beverly Hilton.

The event featured a silent and live auction, dinner and awards. Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the BHPOA's Medical Trust Fund, which provides ongoing benefits for retired officers and their families, as well as the association's scholarship fund.

"On behalf of the board of directors and the entire association, I want to thank you all for being here tonight," BHPOA President Sgt. Terry Nutall told the hundreds in attendance. "We are grateful to be able to provide continued health care benefits and college scholarships to our members and their children due to the generous financial support of this community."
