Knock-Knock Burglary Suspect at Large After Alleged Accomplice Arrested

Bryan Rachal remains on the loose after police apprehend fellow suspect Tyree Jackson on Friday.

The Beverly Hills Police Department is for Bryan Rachal, who is accused of committing daytime residential burglaries in West L.A., after his alleged accomplice was arrested Friday. Rachal is being sought in connection with a residential burglary crime spree committed by the Rolling 30's Harlem Crips that has reached all areas of Los Angeles County.

Rachal, 25, is on parole with the California Department of Corrections, which has now issued a parolee at large warrant for him. He is described as being 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. Sightings of Rachal have been reported at nightclubs and late-night eateries in Hollywood and on the Westside. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Rachal's alleged accomplice in the burglaries, Tyree Jackson, was apprehended by BHPD on Friday morning in the area of 115th Street and South Vermont Avenue. Jackson attempted to flee from the arresting officers, who gave chase and apprehended him without further incident. No members of the police force were injured during the arrest, while Jackson reportedly suffered minor injuries.

"This is another example of the commitment, perseverance and all around fine police work of our officers," Beverly Hills Police Chief David Snowden said in a statement. "These officers are to be commended for their part in creating a near perfect scenario which allowed them to take this dangerous felony suspect off the streets, without risking the safety of the community."

On Feb. 7, BHPD surveillance units observed Rachal and Jackson, along with another man, Germayne Jackson, allegedly committing a daytime residential burglary in North Hollywood.

Police say the three used a common method of operation: They knocked on the front door of the residence and when there was no answer, two of the men entered the residence and ransacked the home looking for jewelry, money and guns. The third suspect waited in the car as the getaway driver.

According to the BHPD, after the men committed the North Hollywood burglary, police units immediately initiated a traffic stop on the car that had been waiting for the suspects outside the victim’s home. All three suspects fled from the vehicle. Germayne Jackson was located a few hours later hiding under a tarp in a carport.

If you come across Rachal, call 911 or the 24-hour BHPD Hotline at 310-288-2656. Do not attempt to apprehend the suspect yourself.
