Note Found at Hilton Hotel's Alleged Murder-Suicide Scene

The contents of the note have not been disclosed.

Beverly Hills police revealed Monday that a note was found at the scene of an that took place at the Beverly Hilton last Friday.

BHPD Lt. Mark Rosen did not say who wrote the note or what it said. The deceased pair were long-term residents of the hotel.

"They had been at the hotel for about six months," Rosen said.

The identities of the roughly 70-year-old man and 56-year-old woman were not released, pending notification of relatives. They died from gunshot wounds at 10:50 p.m. Friday. Rosen said that as far as he knew, neither victim was a celebrity or publicly well-known.

Although the deaths were believed to be the result of a murder-suicide, other possibilities have not been ruled out, Rosen said.

There was no known connection between the shootings and the held at the hotel Saturday night.

In February, the day before the Grammy Awards ceremony in downtown Los Angeles.
