Man Arrested After Attempted Armed Robberies at UCLA

Roel Tzul is found and arrested in Beverly Hills following two robbery incidents on the nearby UCLA campus in Westwood.

A 26-year-old Panorama City man was arrested Tuesday after an alleged attempted armed robbery at a UCLA sorority house and another robbery of a UCLA student, reports NBC4.

He was located and arrested by campus and LAPD officers in Beverly Hills.

Roel Tzul, 26, is charged with robbery, attempted robbery and brandishing a weapon according to the UC Police Department on Wednesday. The incident began Tuesday afternoon at the Alpha Phi sorority house on Hilgard Avenue.
