Fleeing Burglars Caught, Beverly Hills Police Say

Officers arrest three teens early Tuesday on suspicion of commercial burglary and resisting arrest on La Cienega near Wilshire.

Three teens were caught after they allegedly committed a burglary early Tuesday morning on La Cienega Boulevard south of Wilshire Boulevard, police said.

Shortly after 3 a.m., Beverly Hills police were called to the area. Officers discovered three suspects on bicycles behind the pharmacy at 233 S. La Cienega. The suspects fled on foot and two were caught after a short foot pursuit. A perimeter was set up around and the third suspect was apprehended a short time later. 

Police checked area businesses and confirmed that a burglary had occurred at 239 S. La Cienega. Other businesses at that location reportedly had their windows broken.

Arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary and resisting arrest were Eduardo Castro-Munoz, age 19; James Lesnau, age 18; and Eduardo Flores, age 18. The suspects are all Los Angeles residents.
