Fire Rips Through Beverly Hills Mansion

No injuries are reported at Wallace Ridge house fire.

A fire destroyed a Beverly Hills mansion Thursday night, but no injuries were initially reported. Authorities spent much of early Friday morning investigating the cause of the stubborn fire, which left one firefighter slightly injured.

The fire at 1051 Wallace Ridge, north of Sunset Boulevard, was reported at 9:01 p.m., according to a Beverly Hills Fire Department dispatcher.

Firefighters continued to battle the blaze as of 10:40 p.m., the dispatcher said. It was knocked down at 10:56 p.m.

Broadcast video showed the mansion fully engulfed in flames.  

According to @BHScanner on Twitter, the fire received mutual aid from Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, Culver City and Santa Monica departments, and one firefighter was transported to Cedars-Sinai.

The 4,543- square-foot home had four bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and its value was estimated at nearly $4.2 million, according to real estate website Zillow.com.
