Encino Shooting Suspect Linked to Beverly Hills Incidents

The suspect in a Jan. 7 ambush shooting in Encino has been linked to incidents in Beverly Hills, reports the Los Angeles Daily News.

The Encino victim, age 35, was shot four times in the chest as he stepped out of his SUV and two children under 10 years old were in the vehicle at the time. They were not harmed.

The suspect is a 55-year-old man who fled in a pick-up truck.

Los Angeles Police Department investigators said the incident does not appear random, and the suspect was already under investigation for incidents in Beverly Hills.

No arrests have been made, and ABC7 reported that investigators went to a home in Beverly Hills the same night of the shooting.
