Duo Arrested for Beverly Hills Burglaries

The pair had made purchases with stolen credit cards.

Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with burglaries committed in Beverly Hills.

Tommy Dixon, 19, and a 16-year-old female, both of Los Angeles, were spotted by a Beverly Hills police officer who recognized the duo dining at a local restaurant in the early morning hours. 

The officer had recently viewed video footage of the suspects using a credit card that had been stolen from a Beverly Hills location a few days prior. After calling for back-up, the pair were arrested without incident while leaving the restaurant.

The subsequent investigation resulted in the recovery of evidence and property from a burglary on the 400 block of North Maple Drive. During the investigation the suspects confessed to committing an additional burglary in Beverly Hills on the 9200 block of Alden Drive.

Officers then learned the suspects had paid for their meal at the restaurant where they were arrested with a credit card stolen earlier that night from a West Hollywood apartment. The owner of the credit card, who was sleeping when it was stolen, was unaware of the crime until being contacted by the .

The investigation is ongoing to determine if Dixon and the juvenile female have committed other crimes in Beverly Hills and the surrounding area.
