The victim was identified as Anand Shah, 33, of Norwalk, said Coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz.
Shah, who was crossing westbound outside a marked crosswalk, was struck by a dark gray or green Jeep Wrangler that had been heading north on Doheny Drive, police said.
