“The city of Beverly Hills is committed to providing ongoing assistance towards the investigation. We share our heartfelt sympathy with everyone involved during this incredibly difficult time,” stated Mayor John Mirisch.

The accident occurred within the Beverly Hills city limits at approximately 8 a.m. on Loma Vista Drive and Robert Lane. A southbound truck collided with a Hollywood Division LAPD patrol car which was responding to an unknown trouble call in the city of Los Angeles.

It is a multi-agency investigation which includes the Beverly Hills Police Department, Beverly Hills Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.
