BHPD Arrests Lane Garrison for Felony Domestic Violence

The actor was already on parole for a manslaughter conviction stemming from a drunk driving accident that killed a Beverly Hills teen.

Actor Lane Garrison was arrested by Beverly Hills police Sunday afternoon for allegedly slapping his ex-girlfriend at her North Palm Drive apartment building on Saturday.

"Mr. Garrison currently remains in the custody of the Beverly Hills Police Department on charges of felony domestic violence and a parole violation," BHPD spokesman Lt. Mark Rosen said in a statement.

Garrison, best known for his role on the TV show Prison Break, was already on parole for a manslaughter conviction related to a December 2006 car crash. The actor, then 26, was driving three Beverly Hills High School students in his Land Rover when he jumped a curb and hit a tree. One passenger, 17-year-old , died in the crash. Garrison's blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was twice the legal limit. He pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and two other alcohol-related charges, and served two years in prison.
