Beverly Hills Fire Department Appoints Deputy Chief

Gregory Barton has previously served as Beverly Hill's fire marshal and battalion chief.

The Beverly Hills Fire Department announced the appointment of Greg Barton as the new deputy fire chief on Jan. 6. 

Barton previously served as the department's battalion chief and has also served as the city's fire marshal. 

The move comes after the appointment of Ralph Mundell to fire chief in October 2013, replacing Tim Scanton who retired in early 2013.
