Beverly Hills' Active Adults are Cooking

Beverly Hills Active Adults have taped three new cooking segments to promote the new "Classic Beverly Hills Recipes" cookbook and exciting upcoming calendar of events.

The Beverly Hills Active Adult Club is cooking. And cooking is exactly what it wants to highlight. To publicize its new exciting programs and cookbook, Classic Beverly Hills Recipes, the group has added a cooking series to its busy schedule that will air beginning late March on Beverly Hills cable BHTV 10 and numerous places online.

The series features yours truly as the hostess cooking with active adult guests that include Ellyn and Police Chief Dave Snowden, community activist and FTA head Judie Fenton, past Active Adult Club President and current Sunshine Lady Donna Goldstein, who is Fenton's mother, as well as current Active Adult Club President Winifred Hervey.

Hervey, who suggested the cooking show to publicize recipes from the cookbook, contributed her expertise and delicious decadent potato recipe to the first set of shows.

According to Active Adult Club board member Ellyn Snowden, the group is planning numerous activities this year to appeal to a wider demographic and bring new energy and members into the fold.

A fashion show and tea, a trip to the Reagan Library and a star-studded concert are also in the works.
