MSMLE'S Daily Gem

Today we are celebrating Il Pastaio, which Gourmet Magazine calls "a taste of heaven," and says" the cooks have angel's hands." 

Handmade on the premises, Celestino Drago and his brother Giacomino Drago have designed the menu around pasta as the main course. 

Their pastas are light and al dente while accompanying sauces are rich and delicious. We recommend the Fried Calamari, Prosciutto, and Homemade Ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, cheese fondue and truffle sauce. 

The staff is kind and attentive and they check on your table often. Overall, Il Pastaio is a fabulous, low-key restaurant with a warm atmosphere and reasonable prices.
