"Stay Fit, Have Fun" Event a Rousing Success

Julian Omidi discusses the success of Stay Fit, Have Fun Day at Westport Heights Elementary School.

The "Stay Fit, Have Fun" event held at Westport Heights Elementary School on May 10th was a rousing success and has led to further donations and partnerships from the organizations involved.

The Omidi Brothers charity Children's Obesity Fund had the distinct pleasure of being able to sponsor a health and wellness event at the Los Angeles school with skateboarder Manny Santiago.

Local organizations and businesses including Whole Foods Market, People Water, and I AM Foundation provided healthy foods, beverages, and books for the children while Santiago and his teammate Dave Bachinski performed a thrilling skateboard demonstration.

Not only were the 500 students and faculty members of Westport Heights Elementary privy to this unique demonstration, they also participated in a number of educational and exercise activities.

Due to the success of this event, our charity Children's Obesity Fund and the rest of the sponsors have contributed to the Booster Club for the school. The Booster Club helps to not only ensure successful school experiences through events such as the "Stay Fit, Have Fun" event, but also provide other school programs such as field trips, book fairs, and PE classes.
