TreePeople Offers Holiday Gifts to Help L.A. Forests

The environmental nonprofit located on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills offers unique idea to give a tax deductible donation to help tree populations throughout L.A.

A tree is always is always the right size, never goes out of style, doesn’t need wrapping, spares shoppers a trip to the mall and reduces climate change.

You can give a gift this holiday season that will help revitalize Los Angeles' park and mountain forests through tax deductible donations, and TreePeople, headquartered on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, will plant a tree in dedication to friends, family, co-workers, clients, and anyone on holiday gift lists.

According to the International Society of Arboriculture, a single mature tree can absorb the amount of carbon produced by a car driven 26,000 miles.

For each tax-deductible donation of $25 a tree will be planted and each tree dedication is accompanied by a beautifully designed and personalized holiday card. For each tax-deductible donation of $100, a grove of five trees is dedicated and accompanied by an inscribed certificate. Certificates may be framed with an attractive recycled wood frame for an additional $30.

Financial support from TreePeople’s Holiday Tree Dedications supports tree planting programs in the local mountain forests and park woodlands that have experienced devastation from fires, neglect or other natural causes. More than 14,000 trees were planted by TreePeople volunteers in Los Angeles and environs last year.
