BHHS Physical Education Instructor Shines

Beverly Hills High P.E. teacher Heather Harrison has her students' respect.

Heather Harrison is a physical education teacher at who should start a Twitter account as she has a lot of devoted followers. Harrison has been teaching P.E. classes for the last four years at BHHS and has a lot of the kids super motivated to get themselves in tip-top shape. She  is known for her signature floppy hat, oversized sunglasses and flowing blonde hair. Never hurts to have a good-looking gym teacher! Harrison shies away from this appellation and takes her job very seriously. She is constantly doing research on the Internet for better fitness programs and has her students ready to "rock and roll" every day on the field at the high school.

I'm a daily runner at the BHHS track and memorialized Harrison in a , featuring "Betty" arriving in Beverly Hills as an exchange student to run on the girls varsity track team. Harrison was depicted on the cover of the comic book as the track coach and also featured in the story itself.

"I didn't believe that Hal would really do this when he said he wrote for Archie Comics. How many people in show business actually do what they say they're going to do?" she said. "Well, Hal did it. My students and husband were so impressed!"

Heather is one of the many fine fitness instructors at BHHS and her students have fever-pitch devotion to her and obey her toughest commands when being directed to run "yet another lap, run up and down the stairs in the bleachers, or to do another set of sit ups."

"I love my job and I think that comes across to my students," Harrison said. "Everyone needs to do some exercise each day, even if it's just a brisk walk!"

Well, if Ms. Harrison says "walk" you better start walking!
