Members of the Beverly Hills Firefighters' Association, along with friends and family, participated in the annual Vahagn Setian Charity 5k earlier this month. The BHFA also made a generous donation to the foundation.
The memorial 5k walk/run honors Beverly Hills High School student Vahagn Setian, who was killed in a 2006 car crash. The driver of the car in which Vahagn was riding, actor Lane Garrison, later pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and two other alcohol-related charges.
The Vahagn Setian Charitable Foundation works with the youth to educate on the dangers of driving while intoxicated.
