The Beverly Hills Centennial Cookbook features recipes from Spago, Scarpetta, Il Pastaio, the Stinking Rose, Matsuhisa and Bouchon, among 39 elite and beloved Beverly Hills restaurants. Cooks at every level will find it within their reach to create their own fine-dining experience: from the amazingly simple crab cakes at The Grill on the Alley to the elegant caviar pizza from Spago.

The chefs of Beverly Hills, some of them household names such as Wolfgang Puck and Thomas Keller, have generously donated recipes to help the City celebrate its 100th birthday. And in the last century, Beverly Hills has had its share of famous watering holes.

The cookbook takes you back to the early days of the Polo Lounge and Nate n’ Al; and recaptures the magic of restaurants-past with history and recipes from the Brown Derby and Romanoff’s.

The Beverly Hills Centennial Cookbook is on sale this Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Beverly Hills Farmers Market and every day at the Beverly Hills Visitors Center, 9400 S. Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills.

The City of Beverly Hills will turn 100 on January, 28, 2014. The entire community is invited to a year-long celebration comprised of regional and community events that will pay tribute to Beverly Hills’ past, present and future.
