Get in the Mood for Purim at Hollywood Temple Beth El

 







            Children of all ages, together with


parents and grandparents, are invited to a Get in the Mood for Purim Fun


Service and Activity  on Saturday


morning, March 8, at 10:30 AM at Hollywood Temple Beth El.







            There will be a musical sing-along


Shabbat service lead by Cantor Kathy Robbins of the Creative Arts Temple and


Rabbi Norbert Weinberg of Hollywood Temple Beth El, followed by stories and


songs. As a special treat, Chelsea Cutler, founder of Chickaboom Yoga, a


program for yoga for children, will lead all in Purim Yoga featuring the


Hamentash Fold.

            Families are welcome to bring dairy


( no-meat) picnic lunches to have a Shabbat lunch together to cap off the


morning’s activity.







            This is the first in a series of


family events planned at Hollywood Temple Beth El in conjunction with the


Creative Arts Temple. The next event will be a Second Night Family Seder, with


a focus on the children, on Tuesday evening April 15, and Family Shabbat


Service Celebrating Israel May 17.
