The Friends of Greystone present Beverly Hills Confidential: A Century of Stars, Scandals, and Murders -- a lecture by Barbara Schroeder and Clark Fogg

The Friends of Greystone present Beverly Hills Confidential: A Century of Stars, Scandals, and
Murders by Barbara Schroeder and Clark Fogg

Please join the Friends of Greystone and Co-Chairs Jill Tavelman Collins, Roberta Haft & Kathy Melamed for the second season of our new series "Tea and Talk"  featuring guest authors speaking in the wonderful setting of Greystone Mansion's spectacular Living Room. A light tea will be served with all lectures.

In their new book, Beverly Hills Confidential,  investigative reporter Barbara Schroeder and BHPD CSI Inspector Clark Fogg re-examine the sensational and never-to-be-forgotten stories of the past cent...ury in Beverly Hills, such as the Charlie Chaplin paternity trial, and the mystery surrounding the death (was it murder?) of Jean Harlow’s MGM-mogul husband. Revisit the most horrific crimes: the heinous Menendez murders; the ill-fated Van Cleef & Arpels heist; the much-publicized shooting of high-powered publicist Ronni Chasen and the recent death of Whitney Houston. Beverly Hills Confidential shows how greed, jealousy, passion, corruption, and sometimes just simple bad luck, turned the once-idyllic movie star sanctuary into a haven for headlines.

Barbara Schroeder has won multiple Emmy awards for her work as an investigative reporter, journalist, and documentarian.

Clark Fogg is the Senior Forensic Specialist at the Beverly Hills Police Department Crime Lab, where he has worked since 1983.
