Maryam is calling for support from the local community, inviting them to join together at this event to help make a difference and ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed. The “Brunch for love” event will help raise money and awareness for the organization. While no two children are alike, many have common risk factors of mental health issues, family histories of violence or drug and alcohol abuse, or exposure to criminal and violent environments in their neighborhood or school. Children, teens and families in all of our programs reflect the many cultures and diversities within Los Angeles.

Aviva’s programs result in lasting changes in the lives of children, teens and families as they receive the help they need to cope with traumatic experiences and are able to develop appropriate social, behavioral and independent living skills.

Aviva’s expert and experienced staff is ready and committed to providing a full range of therapeutic and educational services, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment. The singular goal of each program is to help children, teens and their families find new paths to functioning more effectively both as individuals and as members of the family and community.
