Attorney Diane L. Karpman to be Installed as 82nd President of the Beverly Hills Bar Assoc.

principal of the Beverly Hills law firm Karpman & Associates, is being
installed as the 82nd 
President of the Board of Governors of the Beverly Hills Bar Association
(BHBA) at the organization’s annual Installation and Awards Dinner on Tuesday,
October 1, 2013, 5:30 P.M., at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.  Karpman and her board are being sworn in by
The Honorable Charles S. Vogel
(Ret.), who, in 1993, was appointed to the California Court of Appeals, Second
Appellate District, where he served as the Presiding Justice of Division Four
and the Administrative Presiding Justice until 2004.  Vogel also installs the officers of the BHBA
Barristers, the young lawyers’ section of the Bar Association, and the Beverly
Hills Bar Foundation, the charitable affiliate of the BHBA.  In addition, several BHBA awards are being
presented for outstanding service. 



 



The guest speaker is Hon. Arthur Gilbert, Presiding Justice of
the Court of Appeals Second District Division Six.  He was appointed to the Court of Appeals in
1982, was appointed Presiding Justice in 1999 and is a longtime columnist for
the Daily Journal.
