SUNDAY

The work week kicked off with a police blotter. There were two crimes on the 100 block of North Gale Drive in this roundup.

Next columnist David De Bacco brought us his weekly Fresh from the Farmers' Market piece with tips on cool foods for a hot summer day.

TUESDAY

Tuesday began with a student spotlight featuring BHHS senior Michael Maltzman, a councilor at Camp Harmony, which provides homeless and impoverished children a free, overnight camping experience.

Next came the beginning of Patch's coverage on the fatal Trousdale Estates stabbing. First came a post on the initial investigation, and then came an updated post about details of the crime scene.

The day ended with coverage of Lindsay Lohan's arrival at the Beverly Hills Courthouse to begin serving her 90-day jail sentence.

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY

The day ended with a post about the fatal Trousdale Estates stabbing. Scott Joseph Barker, 23, and Chie Alexandra Coggins Johnson, 20, were charged with one count of murder each.

FRIDAY

Friday began with coverage of the Beverly Hills Board of Education's search for a permanent superintendent as Interim Supt. Richard Douglas settles into his temporary position.

Then came a recap of the Planning Commission's meeting, which included concerns over a proliferation of medical offices and their impact on parking and commercial space.

The day's last post was a brief on City Council's 5-0 vote in support of an interim ordinance that bans marijuana dispensaries in Beverly Hills.

SATURDAY

The weekend began with a photo slideshow of Planet Bravo's summer camp at El Rodeo School, which teaches youth how to be tech-savvy.

Next came an update on the Trousdale Estates stabbing. Chie Alexandra Coggins Johnson, 20, pleaded not guilty to murder.

The week ended with an obituary on local activist and philanthropist Jean Sieroty.
