Skirball Bridge to Close Nightly for Three Months

The Skirball Bridge closure begins Thursday.

The Skirball Bridge will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for three months while a contractor does utility relocation work, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The closure is scheduled to begin Thursday, Oct. 20.

According to a notice from Metro, power, sewer, water and telecom lines will be relocated to support the reconstruction of the Skirball Bridge, which is located at the 405 Freeway and Skirball Center Drive.

The closures and utility relocation are subject to weather conditions. For the latest information on the closures, visit the Metro website.
