What is the city's most important issue? Sustainability. We need to protect the quality of life in our residential community and at the same time insure a strong economic base.

If you could change one thing about Beverly Hills, what would it be? For there to be a greater sense of civic unity and appreciation of shared goals, in and out of government.

What is your favorite Beverly Hills memory? I have many memories of Beverly Hills in the '60s and '70s, but the one that stands out was the freedom we had as kids to go and do what we wanted without parents' concern about something happening to us. In the summer we would be out of the house all day, playing sports, riding our bikes ... and taking the bus to Westwood.

Name something you've always wanted to do here but have been nervous or too busy to try. As a member of two city commissions, I have always wanted to find better means of communicating governmental decisions and processes with more people in our community. Bringing a greater understanding of challenges we face and how we arrive at decision making would be my primary goal.

Where is your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax?  We have the best of the best in town, so we can support our local businesses for all of our needs.

Describe Beverly Hills in three words:  Safety, education and excellence.
