Portion of Southbound 405 Freeway to Close Monday and Tuesday Nights
Freeway lanes will begin closing as early as 10 p.m.
The southbound 405 Freeway will close from the 101 Freeway to Getty Center Drive on both Monday and Tuesday nights.
According to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, crews will be constructing a falsework structure at the Mulholland Bridge and placing girder plates "above each bridge span and across each direction of the freeway roadway." Falsework is a temporary structure that supports a bridge during reconstruction.
Both nights, ramps between the 101 Freeway and Getty Center Drive may close as early as 7 p.m. Freeway lanes will begin to close as early as 10 p.m. Full closure is expected from 12-5 a.m.

Sepulveda Boulevard will be used as a detour during the closures.
