Free Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Roundup Is Saturday

Bring items to Foothill Road between Alden Drive and West 3rd Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beverly Hills is hosting a free household hazardous waste and e-waste roundup Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Foothill Road between Alden Drive and West 3rd Street. 

In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles, residents are encouraged to properly dispose of hazardous household materials such as home-generated sharps waste (needles, razors), used motor oil, paint, turpentine, acid or lye-based cleaners, household and car batteries, pool chemicals, garden herbicides and e-waste such as cellphones, computers, keyboards, VCRs, stereos, fax machines and copiers. 

When dropping off items, bring them in a sturdy box, preferably in their original containers. Do not mix items.

Do not bring the following: refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, trash, tires, explosives, ammunition, radioactive material and controlled substances.
