Beverly Hills Housewife Headed for Divorce
The husband of cast member Adrienne Maloof has filed for divorce.
One month after filing for legal separation from his wife of more than 10 years, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Paul Nassif filed for divorce today from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Adrienne Maloof.
In divorce papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Nassif cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The cosmetic surgeon had from Maloof on July 30. His court papers seek joint physical and legal custody of the couple's 9-year-old son Gavin and 6-year-old twins Christian and Collin.
The two married on May 2, 2002, and Nassif was regularly seen alongside his 50-year-old wife on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Maloof is the only daughter of the late billionaire entrepreneur George Maloof Sr. She and her four brothers and their mother co-own the holdings of the Maloof Cos., which include the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings basketball team.

In a statement to the celebrity website TMZ, Nassif said the divorce filing came one day after the death of his father.
"This is a difficult time for our family and my prime focus is to ensure our boys are well and happy," Nassif said. TMZ also reported that Maloof had planned to file divorce papers of her own today, but never followed through, possibly out of respect for the Nassif family.
