Beverly Hills Expecting Sizzling Saturday Weather

Weather forecasters anticipate the thermostat will hit 98 degrees.

A wave of dry heat is sweeping over the region, pushing temperatures to the upper-90s Saturday in Beverly Hills before the official start of fall next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Beverly Hills will hit 98 degrees Saturday, then fall down to 88 degrees by Sunday. The sun should be shining both days.

To stay safe in the heat, drink plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, wear light-colored and loose-fitting clothing, and never leave pets, children or the elderly in a vehicle. Avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day.
