405 Closures Coming Tuesday, Wednesday Nights

A portion of the southbound 405 Freeway will close Tuesday night while some of the northbound side will be shut down overnight Wednesday.

Due to construction, the southbound 405 Freeway will close between the Getty on-ramp and Sunset Boulevard Tuesday night. The northbound 405 Freeway will close from Moraga Drive to the Getty off-ramp Wednesday night, according to Metro.

Lane closures will begin at 10 p.m. each night. Full directional closures will be in effect from midnight to 5 a.m.

May 29-30
Where: Southbound 405 Freeway between the Getty on-ramp and Sunset Boulevard
When: May 29 at 10 p.m.: Lanes close, May 30 from 12-5 a.m.: Full closure
Detour: Traffic traveling southbound on the 405 Freeway will be detoured at the Getty off-ramp to Sepulveda Boulevard, to the southbound Church Lane on-ramp.

May 30-31
Where: Northbound 405 Freeway between Moraga Drive and the Getty off-ramp
When: May 30 at 10 p.m.: Lanes close, May 31 from 12-5 a.m.: Full closure
Detour: Traffic traveling northbound on the 405 Freeway will be detoured at the Moraga Drive exit to Sepulveda Boulevard, to the northbound Getty on-ramp.

Metro says the southbound Getty on-ramp and the northbound Montana on-ramp may close as early as 7 p.m.
