405, 10 Freeway Connectors to Close Thursday Night

Metro is shutting several freeway connectors and many roads for construction.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is planning more than 40 road and freeway closures on the Westside Thursday night, including the connectors between the 405 and 10 freeways.

Below is a list of the closures in Westside neighborhoods. Be advised that weather and other conditions may change the closures. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained, according to Metro.

10/405 Junction

  • The 10 East connector to 405 South will be closed 10 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • The 10 West connector to 405 North will be closed 11 p.m.-5 a.m.
  • The 405 North connector to 10 East will be closed 10 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • The 405 North connector to 10 West will be closed 8 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • Lanes 3, 4 and the auxiliary lanes on the westbound 10 will be closed at the 405 South junction from 11 p.m.-4 a.m.

Santa Monica Boulevard

  • The northbound 405 on-ramp from Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed 8 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • The northbound 405 off-ramp to Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed 10 p.m.-5 a.m.

Wilshire Boulevard

  • The northbound 405 on-ramp at Wilshire will be closed 8 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • The northbound 405 off-ramp at Wilshire will be closed 9 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • The southbound 405 off-ramp to eastbound Wilshire will be closed 9 p.m.-5 a.m.
  • Lanes 2 and 3 on eastbound Wilshire from Veteran to the 405 will be closed 9 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • Lanes 2, 3 and 4 on westbound Wilshire from Veteran to the 405 will be closed 9 p.m.-6 a.m.

405 Lane Closures

  • Lanes 4, 5 and the auxiliary lanes on the 405 South from Waterford to Constitution avenues will be closed 9 p.m.-6 a.m.
  • Lanes 4 and 5 on the 405 North will be closed from Santa Monica Boulevard to Wilshire Boulevard from 11 p.m.-5 a.m.
