THE BEST NUTCRACKER IN TOWN is coming to The Luckman Theatre at Cal State LA -- 5 miles east of downtown. With former Kirov Ballet star Marat Daukayev leading a cast of 130 students, with 500 costumes and special appearances by international stars Maria Kochetkova of SF Ballet and Joaquin de Luz of NYC Ballet, this is the show to see this holiday season. Showtimes: Saturday, Dec 7 at 2pm and 7pm; Sunday, Dec 8 at 11:30am and 4:30pm; Saturday, Dec 14 at 2pm and 7pm; Sunday, Dec 15 at 2pm. Tickets, $34-40, go on sale Nov 2 at www.maratdaukayev.org.
