The 100th Beverly Hills Chocolate Walking Tour Coincides With the Kick-off of Beverly Hills Centennial Festivities

Beverly Hills, CA (February 7, 2014)  – The Beverly Hills Chocolate Walking Tour will be celebrating their 100th tour on Saturday, February 8, 2014, which coincides with the upcoming, year-long Beverly Hills' Centennial.

Entrepreneur and actress, Casey Martin, founded the Beverly Hills Chocolate Walking Tour in December of 2010, after realizing she had passed more than a few chocolate shops on one of her walks around 90210.

“I couldn’t believe no one had thought of this before, “ says Martin. I went to all the shops that sell chocolate, many of which are family owned, presented my idea and soon I had a new business.”

The Beverly Hills Chocolate Walking Tour is an affordable luxury ($50).  Among the tour stops in the Golden Triangle, where generous samples are enjoyed, are Bouchon Bakery, Edelweiss, Teuscher, Voges Haut Chocolate, The Beverly Hills Brownie Company, The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, Sprinkles, The American Tea Room and Coupa Cafe.

According to Martin, “It's a feel good experience for anyone who wants a bit of a rush while indulging in what they love. Not to mention the proven health benefits of some chocolate!”

Tours take place on some Thursdays and most Saturdays, based on paid reservations. The entire walking tour takes 2.5 hours, is 1.5 miles round trip, is family friendly, and has wheelchair access. Children 12 and up are welcome.  The 100th tour festivities will feature a guide with 100 balloons, who will stand outside each stop along the tour, and hand out discounted tour vouchers. Guests on the 100th tour will receive a voucher allowing them to purchase two tickets for $80.00.
