New Cafe, Comoncy, Opens on Bedford Drive and Brighton Way

The group behind Coral Tree Café has opened a new café concept called Comoncy in Beverly Hills, CA. Comoncy officially opened its doors on February 4th, 2014, and will serve as a cross between an espresso boutique, and a European-style breakfast and lunch place. The new café is located on Bedford Drive, between Brighton Way and Santa Monica Blvd. The mastermind behind the modern and sophisticated architecture and décor is LA-Based designer William Emmerson, who is internationally known for his designs. The café also features custom-designed and built espresso machinery, a beautiful pastry case filled daily with freshly-baked goods, and an array of tasty sandwiches, crisp salads, seasonal fruit & breakfast selections. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sundays.

“We are looking forward to bringing the Beverly Hills something fresh and exciting. We believe to be the very first third-wave coffee boutique in the area, and will be utilizing state of the art espresso equipment as well as single-origin offerings from select local rosters,” states Kevin Khalili, the CEO. “Additionally, we are proud to be able to provide the community with new options for breakfast, lunch, or simply a quick bite to eat.”

In a neighborhood stacked with local businesses and famous high-end fashion boutiques, Comoncy provides a fresh face to the coffee and food scene, also offering delivery and professional catering services. Furthermore, its sustainable-based coffee program is matched by its restaurant practices such as using energy-efficient appliances as well as recyclable menus & cutlery.
