LOS ANGELES (June 24, 2014)Meyers Research, a Kennedy Wilson Company, today announced the appointment of Todd Teta as vice president of mobile technology & strategy in conjunction with the opening of a new office in Dallas, which represents the company’s first location outside of California.  These are the first of a series of strategic steps the company will take toward driving market growth and product innovation for Zonda™ -- the dynamic iPad app launched by Meyers Research in October 2013.

“Todd’s expertise in growing and scaling mobile strategies along with our recent expansion into Texas will be major assets as we continue along this path of growth,” said Jeff Meyers, president of Meyers Research and founder of Zonda. “It’s a very exciting time for us and the homebuilding industry as a whole.”

Teta’s appointment follows Meyers Research’s earlier expansion into the Texas market, the nation’s leading housing market according to state rankings provided by the Meyers Index.  Regional sales directors were strategically placed in three key markets in Texas, including Glenn Barton  for San Antonio and Austin; as well as Eileen Zachar and John Shanks for Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, respectively.  A native Texan, Shanks brings extensive construction, real estate, data and software experience, including project management at Autodesk and Hanley Wood, to his new position and territory.  With deep roots in Houston and construction, Zachar will leverage her vast experience creating data-driven solutions for leading commercial, residential, and multifamily developers to further expand Zonda’s presence in Texas.  Meyers Research has an office location in Dallas, which opened in early 2014 to grow its presence in its advisory footprint.

Meyers adds: “As the housing market continues to recover and the demand for real-time analytics at all professional levels grows, it has become imperative for us to evolve Zonda’s intuitive functionality.  We’re looking to our new executive and sales leaders to help advance our development methods and on-the-ground expertise in order to expand into even more markets and appeal to a broader audience of homebuilding professionals.”

Zonda is an innovation by Meyers Research, which provides the housing industry with a national perspective and local expertise.  Zonda provides services based on subscription level, which range monthly from $300 for local access to $10,000 for national access.  Zonda targets the nation’s 50 top metropolitan areas based on housing construction and includes market insight from more than 370 counties.  For more information on Zonda or to download the free iPad app, visit www.zonda.co or http://youtu.be/XZqAX2i6zVQ.
