Zagat Ranks Bouchon Bakery Among Best New Eateries

The Beverly Hills spot makes the Zagat list of L.A.'s top five new restaurants.

Opening its doors for the first time last summer, Bouchon Bakery has already established itself as one of the best places to grab a bite in the Los Angeles area.

From acclaimed chef Thomas Keller, Bouchon Bakery is located in the alcove under the staircase leading to Bouchon Bistro and down the walkway from Bar Bouchon. The bakery looks out to Beverly Canon Gardens.

An “informal glimpse” into Thomas Keller’s world, this “fabulous” Beverly Hills French bakery in the Bouchon Bistro lobby “wows” with “fantastic” breads, pastries and sandwiches costing relatively little dough; it’s a to-go kiosk, so the setting’s “casual” (though service is of typical Keller quality), but for fans, it’s one of the “best secrets in town.”

Patch covered the opening of Bouchon Bakery back in August 2011. To read our review, click here.
