The Craving: Killer Croissants
Start your morning off with these tasty and aromatic carbs.
Let's face it: Breakfast cravings are centered around carbohydrates. The good news is that we actually need carbs in the morning to get our metabolism going. Here are three places in town to find killer croissants to start your day.
1) Tarte Tatin Bakery
Hello, almonds! The sweet almond croissant at Tarte Tatin Bakery is one flaky pastry. But beyond the texture, it tasted like it was filled with sweet buttercream (the establishment denied this was the case). Whatever the secret ingredient is, the fluffy shell was oozing with buttery and nutty goodness. Insider tip: Request powdered sugar, like I did, to sprinkle on top.
