Shawmut Design Firm Opens in Mid-Wilshire Area

The east coast environmentally-conscious construction firm is responsible for several notable Westside projects, including buildings on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Sustainable construction and design firm Shawmut, an East Coast-based $850 million dollar national management construction firm responsible for flagship stores including Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Ermenegildo Zegna and Tory Burch on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, recently expanded into an L.A. office in the mid-Wilshire area.

In addition to the firm’s newly established L.A. outpost, the team is currently under construction on a new Christofle, Barney’s and Santa Anita Park, as well as recently having recently completed culinary hotspots Nobu and Nikita in Malibu, and Del Frisco’s Grille in Santa Monica. Other notable national clients include Apple, Le Bernardin, The Waldorf Astoria, Harvard University and Yale University.

Shawmut is a member of the Environmental League of Massachusetts Corporate Council, and the firm is actively involved with sustainable construction projects designed and built in compliance with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
