New Thai Restaurant Opens on Vineland

The restaurant opens at the former site of Lotus Vegan.

The former site of Lotus Vegan on Vineland Avenue was recently replaced by another Thai restaurant that uses real beef and chicken, not soy, in its dishes.

NoHo Thai Food & Noodle opened its doors a little more than a month after Lotus Vegan moved to its new location at 4715 Lankershim Blvd.

The new eatery offers a large menu with many Thai standards like pad Thai, drunken noodles and pad see-ew.

NoHo Thai Food & Noodle is open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Delivery is available with a minimum $15 order. Phone number is 323-599-0218.

... and the parking on my street goes to pot again. Sigh. I mean parking becomes hard again not because the pot place is next door to the restaurant. No parking problem with pot place.

"Thai restaurant that uses real beef and chicken, not soy, in its dishes".... As if vegan Thai food is a bad thing??? Lotus Vegan is still one of my favorite restaurants, now it's just a bit further of a walk. Lotus may not use "real" meat but their food is so delicious you don't miss it. You wouldn't know most of their dishes are vegan unless someone told you. I def will try the new Thai place as long as they offer a couple meat-free dishes for us vegans. The location is a few hundred feet away from my apt and I will def go there a lot if there are enough yummy reasons!

Hi, Christopher: Not trying to downplay Lotus Vegan (which I regret not trying yet), just trying to distinguish a key difference between the two places. Arin

Arin: You don't have to. It's gone in less than 2 weeks.

Most Thai places have plenty of meat free dishes to choose from FYI
