Located on the second floor of a North Canon Drive building in Beverly Hills, newly-opened boutique Gratus offers access to designers and labels not found elsewhere in the city.
Owner Meredith Kaplan said she hopes Gratus brings a fresh take to the region's shopping landscape, merging unexpected levels of personal service with technological-savvy to provide a truly differentiated shopping experience.
Gratus carries a skillfully-edited selection of ready-to-wear along with accessories, shoes and handbags. The labels include dosa, Gregory Parkinson, Dsquared, Band of Outsiders, Marni, Calvin Rucker and Suno, and certain brands will be exclusively available at Gratus.
Invited to be styled rather than to simply shop, Kaplan says new customers can
request an in-home closet consultation with a stylist to evaluate core
items and those best discarded.
The store also employs a dedicated
consumer-accessible database which enables all purchases to be
photographed, chronicled and stored to inform future buys as well as
aid Gratus' personal stylists to focus on wardrobe-building rather than
Kaplan said she will happily open the store for a customer during off hours, send a selection of looks to her home or office on consignment and even source pieces from other stores to complete a look, if requested.
Gratus Beverly Hills is located at 427 N. Canon Drive, Ste. 209. It's open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
