Beverly Hills Golden Palm Awards Gala to be Held at L'Ermitage

The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce will recognize exemplary business leaders for the 11th year's Golden Palm Awards with a gala at the decadent L'Ermitage Hotel rooftop on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The 2013 finalists were announced in July, and the chamber will be presenting awards to:
  • Pioneer Hardware for “Community Support – Small Business"
  • Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel for “Community Support – Large Business"
  • Randy Fuhrman Events for “Innovation – Small Business"
  • The Agency for “Innovation – Large Business"
  • Simon’s Caterers & Special Events for “Above & Beyond – Small Business"
  • Whole Foods Market Beverly Hills for “Above & Beyond – Large Business"

The emcee for awards gala will be Beverly Hills native and actress, singer, TV and radio presenter Daisy Tormé, the daughter of jazz legend Mel Tormé and British Actress Janette Scott.

Throughout the evening two dazzling entertainment groups will be performing: the Electric Angels, that play unique arrangements of current and classic rock and pop hits on electric violins, viola and cello; and Aria, a talented quartet made up of four former members of the Ten Tenors.

The event's gold sponsors are Wells Fargo and Sprint; silver sponsors are Rothstein Kass and Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills; and Bronze Sponsor Torrey Pines Bank.

About The Winners

Pioneer Hardware is the last (and only) full service hardware store in Beverly Hills. It has been in business since 1926 under the same family ownership and management and it is an important resource when there is an emergency like earthquakes, power outages, floods and fires.

Whole Foods Market Beverly Hills was nominated for this award by multiple individuals due to being very active in the community, from helping to establish the Greystone Mansion Community Demonstration Garden to always supporting the local schools and City events. Their weekly donations of food to local community service and faith organizations help feed the hungry and underserved in the community. They have always supported the fundraising efforts of the Beverly Hills Library, the Police and the Firefighters, Beverly Hills Education Foundation and many other organizations within the community.
