Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® Works for its Veterans

Workshop educates REALTORS® on VA Loans and housing opportunities for veterans.

With approximately 1.9 million veterans living in California, the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® (BH/GLAAR) last week presented an “Embracing our Warriors” workshop to help educate its REALTOR® members’ about  VA Loans and other housing opportunities for veterans.

President Debora Bright-Laney, in collaboration with JP Pena of Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals, conceived the idea for the workshop to educate the association’s REALTOR® members on the complexities of the GI Bill of Rights* in relation to home loans. The workshop focused on federal guarantees for a home with no down payment, guaranteed protection against loss for non-payment, new loan limits, and much more.
