Blog: Join Us Dec. 29 in the Greystone Demonstration Garden

If you have compost to share, consider bringing it to the garden.

Due to being rained out Wednesday morning, I will be in the garden Saturday, Dec. 29, around 10:30 a.m. I'll be picking kale and radishes, and feeding the worm farm. Please join me with your compost. The rain should have brought our veggies along at a rapid clip.

The garden is located near the greenhouse at the city-owned Greystone Estate (501 Doheny Road, Beverly Hills, CA 90210). It offers people a place to learn sustainable gardening and watering techniques for their own gardens. Beverly Hills Unified School District students can also earn community service credits by volunteering here. Produce grown are donated to local food banks and meal programs.

Thanks Tom. Ellen Lutwak went up Wednesday after the rain, and she has reported to me that the garden looks amazing. Yay.....see you soon I hope.

I was up there when she was there. It looks great and I'm sure the rain is helping out a lot! Hope to see you soon too.
