Beverly Hills Music in the Mansion Series returns to Historic Greystone.

Beverly Hills, CA – The City of Beverly Hills prides itself in bringing its residents, visitors and patrons of the arts the finest in solo and chamber music performances. Since 1994, under Artistic Director Laura Schmieder, Music in the Mansion has presented concerts featuring selected prize-winning international and local artists.  From January-June, monthly Sundays’ 2PM concerts followed by “meet the artists” reception and a tour of the first floor of the Greystone Mansion. (Pastries donated by Bailey’s Bakery, Beverly Hills.)

Sunday, February 26, 2PM: Svetlana Smolina, " an outstanding Russian pianist with a luxuriant tone” - Mark Swed, Los Angeles Times.
Svetlana  has performed with orchestras and in recitals worldwide including Mariinsky Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall, and as iPalpiti artist at Walt Disney Concert Hall. A frequent guest in the world's leading festivals, she has recorded for Decca/Phillips with Maestro Gergiev and for Deutsche Grammophon.

Mark your calendar for the remainder of the exceptional 2012 season.  Performances held at 2:00PM on Sundays: March 25 Alto Tenor Slava Kagan-Paley/Israel,  April 22  Aiana & Hausmann String Quartets/USA,  May 13 Cellist Francisco Vila/Ecuador, June 17 Trombonist Ohtae Kwon/Korea & Flutist Jenni Olson/LA. Season will conclude with iPalpiti international orchestra at the inner court of the mansion on Wednesday, July 25, 6:30pm – under direction of Maestro Schmieder.

Tickets for each concert are $20.
