Author Dan Burstein discusses his book, The Tattooed Girl: The Enigma of Stieg Larsson and the Secrets behind the Most Compelling Thrillers of Our Time just as we get ready for the holiday season premiere of the David Fincher-directed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie, starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.

Burstein’s book, co-written with his colleagues Arne de Keijzer and John-Henri Holmberg (Holmberg was a lifelong friend of Larsson’s), is the most authoritative literary, political, and sociological guidebook to what have been rightly called “the hottest books on the planet”– The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest.
